Arcadia Sunset Beach is a beloved community park that the Conservancy helped protect in 2001. We were honored to work with public and private partners in the Arcadia area to appropriately conserve our community’s land and waters and harness their potential as economic assets. We continued our commitment to this special place by securing matching funds for community-requested park improvements.
Arcadia boasts a network of recreational opportunities that allow people of all needs and abilities to experience and enjoy its truly unique natural resources: the dunes, Lake Michigan shoreline, marsh, wetlands, inland lakes and tributaries.
