Herpetological Study at Upper Manistee Headwaters Preserve

While working toward permanently protecting the proposed Upper Manistee Headwaters Preserve in Kalkaska County, we’ve been gathering information and conducting surveys to understand how to best manage the property before opening it up to the public. One recent effort was an extensive professional herpetological (reptile and amphibian) survey.
