With each project approved by our Board, and with each conservation easement accepted, our organization assumes the obligation to steward those properties…forever.
Annual stewardship activities include monitoring and enforcing conservation easements, managing and removing invasive species, maintaining trails, conserving habitats and preserving water quality throughout the five-county region we serve. As we protect more land our need for professional staff, a team of volunteers, and the tools necessary to fulfill our promise increases.
